Underfoot Feel
Fresh Foam X cushioning offers lots of protection and shock absorption. The significant volume of foam in the New Balance Vongo v6 should translate into great underfoot comfort.
An innovative TPU Dynamic Stability Plate offers additional support. To explain further, a stiffer plate that runs the length of the midsole helps stop the midsole sheering. This should lead to a slower rate and lower amount of pronation.
As your feet sit on top of Fresh Foam X cushioning, you shouldn't be overly aware of the additional support. Finally, the rockered geometry is likely to make transitions from landing to take-off feel smoother.
Upper Fit
In line with the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X Vongo v6 being stability running shoes, the upper offers more support too. An engineered mesh upper features a supportive design on the medial side that compliments the additional support in the midsole.
However, comfort is also enhanced thanks to no-sew overlays. Removing areas of stitching normally reduces potential points of friction.
Ideal Run Type
For clarity, the New Balance Men's Fresh Foam X Vongo v6 are stability running shoes. Therefore, they're best suited to runners who need additional support for their feet and ankles.
Given the soft and protective nature of the midsole, we recommend using them for slower paced runs. Needless to say they should also perform well over longer distances.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
