Underfoot Feel
A 100% PEBA-based FuelCell midsole foam offers a light, bouncy, and responsive underfoot ride.
The sculpted midsole design helps keep weight to a minimum - ensuring it feels light and fast on your feet.
A full-length carbon-fibre plate runs through the midsole. Even though the whole structure improves energy return, a stiffer forefoot construction maximises propulsion.
The forefoot has an ultra-thin outsole rubber - providing just enough traction for race day. In contrast, the heel area has a slightly thicker rubber compound to improve durability.
Upper Fit
The upper of the New Balance FuelCell SuperComp Elite V5 Running Shoes offers a sleek fit and feel. While it feels accommodating, it really hugs the foot.
As it's very light and breathable, the upper should feel comfortable in hot conditions.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
