The midsole is made with Nike's most responsive foam - ZoomX.
A full-length carbon-fibre Flyplate provides amazing underfoot propulsion and energy return.
In order to keep the weight down, the outsole features a thin, sticky, webbed substance. This material should optimise traction at faster speeds.
While the Nike Streakfly 2 Road Racing Shoes are not exclusively designed for mid to forefoot strikers, it's likely the geometry will encourage you to run closer to your toes.
As you'd probably expect, the upper of the Nike Streakfly 2 Road Racing Shoes is very light. However, the minimal design still delivers support and structure where it's needed most.
The Nike Men's Streakfly 2 Road Racing Shoes should help you run faster times in road events that range from a mile to 10 km. We don't recommend using this Nike model for long-distance racing.
Some runners might find it beneficial to use the Streakfly 2 Road Racing Shoes for some fast-paced training sessions, particularly when they're performed on the track.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
