Underfoot Feel
These spikes are designed to balance the need for cushioning and protection with the responsiveness needed when upping the pace. Additional cushioning in the heel and midfoot protects against the impact of longer efforts. It also ensures a quick and smooth transition through to the forefoot. The spike plate design enhances propulsion on toe-off and features highly durable and lightweight ceramic aluminium spikes.
Upper Fit
The single layer mesh upper provides a secure fit and excellent breathability, while also minimising movement within the shoe. A midfoot band optimises support around the arch area.
Ideal Run Type
Ideally suited to track events up to 10000m, the Nike Unisex Zoom Rival Distance Track Spikes are highly versatile. Their flexibility, protection and responsiveness mean they are highly adaptable. As such, they're also suitable for shorter and middle distance track events from 400m upwards, hurdles, horizontal jumps and even cross country!
Important Sizing Note: When buying unisex Nike spikes please refer to the size guides and choose your size based on the EU sizing. The conversion for UK sizes 6 and below differs slightly from road or trail running shoes.
Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface, and are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommend your spikes being at least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
