Underfoot Feel
We know that it takes time to figure out which track events you enjoy the most. While many spikes are specifically designed for set events, the Nike Zoom Rival Multi-Event Spikes is not so limited. How?
- Extra cushioning at the heel keeps you comfortable and protected across short and middle distances, and hurdles and jumps.
- A lightweight 3/4 length spike plate increases the likelihood of you staying on your toes while sprinting.
Upper Fit
Given the chances that the Nike Zoom Rival Multi-Event Spikes will be used for a range of events, the upper is designed accordingly. Overlays on the toe tip enhance durability. While no-sew overlays add support in the heel.
If you're not fully accustomed to track spikes, you'll be pleased to know that these have a padded collar for more comfort. Finally, so you can perform in a range of events, an arch band secures your feet in place.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend opting for the Zoom Rival Multi-Event Spikes if you're competing in more than one event. Such as sprints, hurdle events, jumps and pole vault. It's also a good option for training sessions, given the enhanced comfort elements.
Important Sizing Note: When buying unisex Nike spikes please refer to the size guides and choose your size based on the EU sizing. The conversion for UK sizes 6 and below differs slightly from road or trail running shoes.
Note that spikes are designed to be snug and secure, limiting lateral movement while providing drive onto the running surface. They are manufactured quite small in comparison to road or trail running shoes. To ensure a secure fit and optimum performance, we recommend your spikes being at least a full size bigger than your regular shoe size.
