Underfoot Feel
The ReactX midsole in the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Running Shoes offers a responsive, yet relatively plush and protective underfoot ride. Making it ideal for runs over hard ground.
A versatile outsole design provides a great balance of feeling comfortable on compact ground, and grippy on light trails. It's worth mentioning the outsole doesn't offer enough grip for technical trails.
Upper Construction
Flywire technology integrates with the laces to offer a secure fit in the midfoot. A mesh upper is combined with open holes to improve breathability.
Ideal Run Type
The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 5 Running Shoes offer great performance for door-to-trail runs. We recommend choosing these Nike trail shoes if you run on a range of surfaces, such as forest trails, coastal paths, and grassy parks.
Even though the Nike Pegasus Trail 5 Running Shoes offer lots of cushioning, we don't suggest using this style for road-only runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
