Underfoot Feel
The Nike Vaporfly 4 Running Shoes should feel incredibly light and responsive underfoot.
The full-length carbon-fibre Flyplate has a higher angle. This works alongside a lower heel-to-drop to deliver a more propulsive ride.
Even though the ZoomX midsole still offers lots of protection, a slight midsole reduction improves the responsiveness of the super-foam.
The adjusted midsole shaping serves to two purposes. Firstly, it helps bring the weight down. It also helps improve the inherent stability of the midsole.
Finally, a thinner outsole rubber delivers an even lighter underfoot feel.
Upper Fit
In line with the midsole, the upper of the Nike Vaporfly 4 Road Racing Shoes is also lighter.
The engineered mesh helps reduce the weight and should deliver a more consistent fit. Weight has also been saved by reducing the size of the heel and tongue.
Ideal Run Type

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
