Advice for Road Runners: The On Women's Cloudsurfer Running Shoes have an ultra soft midsole. On's CloudTec Phase® cushioning creates a smooth running experience. 

The Cloudsurfer's yarn is coloured using a dope dyeing process - requiring 90% less water in comparison to standard techniques.

Underfoot Feel

Why does the Cloudsufer's cushioning feel so soft and comfortable? Well, the answer comes from the design process. On used Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to simulate how each component of their prototype reacts during running. The insights from this process helped On to create the optimal midsole for seamless weight transfer from heel to toe.

The midsole design is called CloudtTec Phase®. As your foot moves through the gait cycle, the computer-optimised Clouds seamlessly collapse like dominos. 

A softer, smoother transfer from heel to toe is the result of On's research and development.

Upper Fit

The Cloudsurfer have a regular fit and there should be very little chance of the upper causing excess compression on the sides of your feet. 

Ideal Run Type

The On Women's Cloudsurfer Running Shoes are neutral running shoes, and are best for easy to steady paced runs.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
