Red lighting preserves night vision and prevents members of a group from blinding each other, while the reflective headband provides night visibility. The white light has 3 brightness settings Max Burn Time, Standard, Max Power. On max power as far away as 70m can be seen.
The Petzl TIKKA Running Head Torch comes with three AAA/LR03 batteries and is also compatible with the CORE rechargeable battery (not included), thanks to the HYBRID CONCEPT design. On a standard burn setting the AAA batteries can last for 12 hours.
Mounting accessories allow the lamp to be attached to any kind of helmet, or a bicycle. It can even be turned into a lantern when placed in its carrying bag, perfect for setting up camp.
