Underfoot Feel
The combination of Salomon's Energy Foam and the dynamic support of the Active Chassis should result in comfort and support for your feet. A moderate level of cushioning means that the cushioning should not feel too minimal nor too bulky underneath your feet.
On the outsole, you should notice the two-part lug pattern which will help to provide you with confidence and ability to ascend and descend technical, rocky terrain. Salomon's All-Terrain Contagrip® compound should also help to provide a lot of traction for rocky ground.

These Salomon trail running shoes have a standard fit.
A great feature is the weaved Matryx® upper - which is skree-resistant, and designed for long-term durability and breathability.

The Salomon Men's Genesis Running Shoes are best for runners seeking cushioning and some extra support for trail runs over rocky terrain. For the avoidance of doubt, these trail running shoes are designed for use on steep slopes.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
