Underfoot Feel
The Salomon Aero Glide 3 GRVL midsole is made from a PEBA and EVA mix. This super foam - named energyFOAM evo - should deliver a dynamic ride, that feels soft and energetic.
The high-stacked midsole should suit runners who are looking for a protective underfoot feel.
Inspired by Salomon's ski heritage, the curved midsole geometry - named Reverse Camber technology - should roll your feet forward. This should also deliver smooth transitions from landing to take-off.
The Gravel ContaGRIP® outsole optimises grip and comfort on both gravel paths and paved roads. The main benefit of this gravel bike inspired outsole is that you should be able to switch between surfaces with confidence.
Upper Fit
Made for mixed-surface running, the lightweight upper has a protective mudguard. It also offers more foothold to help you navigate uneven terrain.
The almost seamless construction should enhance comfort and reduce the chances of unwanted friction.
Ideal Run Type
The Salomon Women's Aero Glide 3 GRVL Running Shoes are a great choice for runners who train on a range of surfaces, including gravel paths. While the outsole is not designed for technical trails, it should deliver more traction than a dedicated road running shoe.
As the midsole offers a lot of cushioning, this Salomon model should feel comfortable for longer-distance runs.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
