Underfoot Feel
The midsole features Saucony's PWRRUN PB super foam and a full-length winged nylon plate. As the nylon plate is more flexible than a carbon-fibre plate, it should feel slightly more forgiving.
In comparison to the previous edition, the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 Running Shoes' midsole should deliver smoother transitions and snappier toe-offs. This is a result of the full-length longitudinal groove and extra rigidity in the midfoot area of the plate.
As the base is also wider, the midsole should feel more stable. And with weekly training sessions in mind, there's more outsole coverage at the heel.
Overall, the midsole should feel both propulsive and supportive - especially when you're running at quicker paces.
Upper Fit
Tailored for speed, the Saucony Endorphin Speed 5 Running Shoes' upper is light and very breathable.
Ideal Run Type
The Saucony Men's Endorphin Speed 5 Running Shoes are perfect for fast-paced training sessions, such as intervals and tempo runs. The nylon plate is likely to feel more comfortable than a carbon-fibre plate during weekly workouts. However, the superfoam and full-length plate still deliver exceptional energy return - which should improve your running economy.
The energetic and supportive nature of Endorphin Speed 5's cushioning also makes them a potential option for Hyrox events.

Sizing Advice
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
