Advice for Road Runners: The U-Tech Nevos in the True Blue/Sharp Green/White colourway is True Motion’s signature model and is designed to deliver a feel which effectively balances cushioning and protection with responsiveness.
In common with other True Motion shoes, the Nevos features a U-Tech structure which is designed to centre forces from the ground through the ankle and knee joints. This structure helps to ensure that the foot lands securely and reduces the rate of inward rotation of the knee and lower leg, in turn decreasing the risk of pain in the knee, the most common location of running-related injury. The horseshoe-shaped U-Tech structure also provides a highly propulsive effect with the U-Tech foam in both the heel and forefoot offering a very high energy return. The result is a springy feel to your run without compromising on cushioning and protection.
The midsole also features an EVA carrier foam which surrounds the U-Tech foam. A MotionBridge structure in the midfoot of the shoe helps to transfer energy through your gait cycle and ensures a smooth and responsive transition from heel to toe.
The outsole incorporates rotated flex grooves in the forefoot which enhance responsiveness at toe-off. The high performance carbon rubber used offers excellent traction and durability.
Comfort around the foot is provided by a lightweight and highly breathable double-layered jacquard mesh upper which offers a secure, supportive fit. The heel counter and overlay construction in the heel area enhance support. Sustainable materials are used in the construction of the upper.
The U-Tech Nevos is designed for use across a wide range of distances and paces. As well as offering fantastic cushioning and protection at easier paces, the energy return of the U-Tech foam ensures the shoe responds well when you crank up the pace on quicker sessions too!
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
