Ronhill's reputation for high-performance running gear stems directly from its founder, the legendary athlete Ron Hill. As the first Briton to win the Boston Marathon, setting a record time of 2:10:30, Ron's own experience became the driving force behind the brand. He set out to create running clothing that provides runners with the comfort and assurance to train effectively, whatever the weather or time of day. This principle remains a core tenet of the brand today.

Innovation has always been central to Ronhill. From the introduction of the iconic side split shorts and trackster pants of the 1970s, to contemporary weather-ready and highly reflective running gear; the brand has continually developed products that enhance performance and safety. Ronhill offers a leading range of reflective running clothing, specifically designed to help runners be seen and stay safe in the dark and low-light.

Drawing on this rich heritage of technical expertise, Hilly was founded in 1992 as a companion sock brand. Among Hilly’s line-up is the legendary double-layer Twin Skin, engineered to reduce friction and enhance comfort.

More recently, Ronhill has extended its expertise into footwear, launching trail-focused running shoes extensively tested across British trails and hills, where varied terrain and unpredictable weather conditions demand functionality and durability.

Our Ronhill Running Clothing range includes shorts, tights, tops and jackets across two key collections: Tech and Core. The Ronhill Tech collection uses premium fabrics and advanced design features to deliver high-performance kit with a technical edge. The Ronhill Core collection focuses on essential training staples, offering dependable comfort and performance at great value.

Within the Tech range, Ronhill ‘Tech Race’ styles are light, fast and premium-feeling pieces designed for peak performance. The Ronhill ‘Tech All-Terrain’ styles prioritise versatility, featuring durable materials and functional details that transition seamlessly from road to trail and back again.

It’s worth noting that Ronhill has been a member of the Fair Wear Foundation since 2012, working to ensure fair working conditions and ethical garment production throughout their supply chain.

Our Ronhill Running Shoes range currently features two trail models: the Reverence, designed for soft ground and loose technical terrain, and the Freedom, optimised for firmer trails and drier conditions.
