We follow Romain as he tries out the Saucony Kinvara 10 on a local run in Broughty Ferry.
A versatile shoe for all types of sessions.
“My name is Romain and I’m a long distance runner. My typical training week includes different types of sessions. To ensure I get the maximum benefit from my runs, I train at different intensities and vary the distance.
My usual week has at least one interval session, one recovery run and one longer run. So every training session is a different running experience for which I have different needs. The Saucony Kinvara 10 is a versatile shoe that helps me get through all of my sessions.
The ultra lightweight design is great for interval sessions. The lack of rubber on the outsole minimises weight and the guidance line encourages a responsive and smooth transition from heel to toe. The men’s Kinvara weighs 221 grams and teh women’s weighs 190 grams.
The Kinvara 10 features a full length EVERUN topsole, providing greater energy return. Not as stiff as a racing shoe, it’s perfect for my longer and easy paced runs. The 4mm drop lets my feet and body do more work and move as naturally as possible. The new FORMFIT footbed insole also adds more structure to the shoe, enhancing the comfort. A great addition for my easy and recovery sessions.
These elements help the Kinvara 10 to handle any distance whilst offering the most comfortable ride.”
