HOKA

HOKA was born in Annecy in the French Alps in 2009, when HOKA co-founders Jean-Luc Diard and Nicolas Mermoud set out to design running shoes that made downhill running and distance running feel easier. 

Inspired by how wheels roll downhill, HOKA developed its signature curved midsole geometry, known as MetaRocker, to encourage smooth heel-to-toe transitions. Combined with cushioned midsoles and the supportive Active Foot Frame, HOKA running shoes are designed to reduce impact, improve efficiency, and deliver a comfortable, stable ride.
