Advice for Road Runners: The adidas Men's Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes should help you to run faster times on race day. Designed to be comfortable and fast over long distances such as the marathon.
While the Adios Pro 3 are arguably one of the most exciting race day shoes, they are designed to suit a wide range of running abilities. For high levels of cushioning and energy return, these shoes are a great option from the range of Adizero Racing products.
The midsole contains adidas' carbon-infused ENERGYRODS. This a significant source of the propulsive feeling provided by the Adios Pro 3. They are designed to limit energy loss and improve forward momentum. The advantage of ENERGYRODS over a carbon fibre plate is that they can move independently of each other. This results in a smooth and forgiving underfoot feel.
Two layers of ultralight LIGHTSTRIKE PRO - adidas' most resilient foam - provides spring and underfoot protection.
A Continental™ rubber outsole provides significant levels of traction.
The upper of the Adios Pro 3 is highly breathable. Supportive overlays provide structure for the upper - resulting in support where it is needed.
The adidas Men's Adizero Adios Pro 3 Running Shoes are best suited to race day. The high levels of cushioning and energy return make these shoes a brilliant option for distances such as the half marathon and marathon.
You can use the Adios Pro 3 for faster paced training runs. It is a good idea to ensure you know what to expect from the shoes on race day. However, as much as possible, we recommend keeping these for race day.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
