Underfoot Feel
Expect the Boston 12 to feel very fast and very comfortable.
From the perspective of how these shoes help you to run faster, glass-fibre infused ENERGYRODS 2.0 work to prevent energy loss underfoot. The top layer of the midsole is LIGHTSTRIKE PRO cushioning: ultralight with an ability to help you to maintain your speed.
The bottom layer of the midsole is LIGHTSTRIKE 2.0. This significantly helps with the comfort and durability of the adidas Boston 12.
Upper Fit
If used properly, it is likely that you will run in these shoes at your faster speeds. When you are moving quickly, the upper needs to support and flex properly. The upper is designed to support your feet in the right places - such as the midfoot. Flexibility in the forefoot will help with comfort when you are in the toe off stage of the gait cycle.
Ideal Run Type
The adidas Men's Adizero Boston 12 Running Shoes are for training runs at your faster speeds. However, they are designed for mid to long distances, and you should not feel the need to confine these shoes to short runs. They should provide cushioning and energy return in a way that helps you to tackle tough training sessions with confidence.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
