Optimising BOOST cushioning in the midsole for great protection and energy return, this shoe is perfect for slow to steady paced running and running on tired legs. A great option for commuter runners or as a recovery shoe, a Control Rail wraps around the BOOST foam adding stability for fatigued legs. The Linear Energy Push (LEP) system also aids stability, guiding the foot from heel to toe off, creating a smooth ride for training miles. These features, not normally offered in a neutral shoe, are great for runners who may need light stability after a long day on their feet.
The zonal Primeblue engineered mesh upper has targeted ventilation zones for breathability, with a more open mesh design in the forefoot and midfoot areas and a more structured design in key areas where more support is required. The padding in the heel has been updated to enhance comfort and support while precision-placed overlays help support and secure the foot throughout the gait cycle. The reliable Continental rubber outsole offers durable traction on the road.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
