The Supernova Rise are the part of the redeveloped Supernova franchise. Supernova franchise running shoes are not designed for fast training sessions and race day. They are designed for comfort during your regular low to moderate effort training runs.
Underfoot Experience
The entire midsole in the Supernova Rise is made from a new material: Dreamstrike+. In some of adidas' ADIZERO racing shoes, a material can be found called Lightstrike Pro. The design of Dreamstrike+ was inspired by Lightstrike Pro; however, Dreamstrike+ should offer increased comfort and cushioning.
The Supernova Rise are neutral running shoes. However, they should still support your feet and provide a stable base to run on. The support mainly stems from a support rod system which is embedded in the outsole. The support rods are designed to replicate the tendons in your feet.
Upper Fit
The Supernova Rise will only meet its objective if the upper provides a lot of comfort too. The upper is designed to provide a soft and secure fit. A plush heel collar contributes to the feeling of comfort.
Ideal Run Type
The adidas Women's Supernova Rise Running Shoes are for your training runs at low to moderate intensity. If you are looking for fast shoes for interval runs, tempo runs and races - these are not the shoes. The purpose of these adidas running shoes is to help you to complete your regular/daily training runs in comfort.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
