Advice for Road Runners: The latest version of the ASICS Men's Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes feature even more cushioning than before. This should translate into better comfort levels on your daily miles.
There's an additional 2 mm of soft FF BLAST PLUS foam in the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes.
In a bid to improve your comfort levels even more, there's an updated FluidRide outsole design. This lightweight outsole works in unity with the soft midsole to optimise transitions. In this case, that means smoothing out the transition from landing to take-off.
ASICS' soft and absorbent PureGEL cushioning still features in the heel area. This should reduce the impact of landing - especially if you're a prominent heel striker.
Featuring a soft engineered jacquard mesh, the ASICS Gel-Cumulus 26's upper should feel very comfortable. It's worth noting that while these are neutral running shoes, specific areas of structure in the upper should help support your feet. At the same time, fibres are left open in the certain areas to promote better breathability.
At least 75% of the primary upper consists of recycled materials.
Most runners are looking for running shoes that feel comfortable and protective for everyday miles. In a perfect world, you'll just be able to forget about your feet and run. The ASICS Men's Gel-Cumulus 26 Running Shoes are likely to be one of the best options here. This is because the dynamic cushioning should feel good over a range of paces and distances.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
