Using a thicker Flytefoam Blast midsole foam than before, together with Gel cushioning in both the heel and forefoot, this edition offers superb levels of protection combined with excellent energy return. The 3D Space Construction used in the midsole allows the midsole to adapt to specific pressures placed upon it.
An updated engineered mesh upper offers a soft feel and incorporates strategic support where necessary. It’s specifically designed to move with the foot and work in conjunction with the midsole to smooth transitions. It also accommodates a greater range of foot shapes. The open nature of the mesh in key areas ensures breathability is optimised.
The Asics Gel-Cumulus 24 is a fantastic update of a tried and trusted mileage shoe and is an excellent option for training across a wide range of distances and paces.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
