Underfoot Feel
The Brooks Men's Ghost 15 midsole is made with DNA LOFT v2 cushioning. This is a lightweight foam that is soft and supportive. We expect you'll find this feels very protective underfoot and lowers the impact of landing.
A segmented crash pad (lateral heel area) slows down the speed of pronation when you hit the ground. This creates a smooth and comfortable experience.
Upper Fit
The Brooks Ghost 15 suits a lot of foot shapes. That's because it has an accommodating forefoot design and holds the ankle well. 3D Fit Print overlays reduces the amount of stitching. The main benefits are that this keeps the weight down and lowers the chances of friction.
Ideal Run Type
We recommend using the Brooks Ghost 15 for easy to steady paced runs. We know that lots of runners just want to slip on their running shoes and head out for a run. We position the Ghost 15 in The Float Experience category because we think that's how they'll feel to run in.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
