It features the lightest EVA foam that HOKA have ever used. More air has been added to their CMEVA foam to deliver this result. More air means this lightweight foam feels well cushioned. Designed for speed, the new Rocket X features a carbon fiber plate that will feel very snappy underfoot and is perfectly suited to pushing the pace over shorter distances.

To save weight further, zonal rubber has been placed on the outsole. This offers durability in the areas prone to the highest levels of wear. The upper is simple yet refined. It's a highly breathable mesh with an anatomical tongue construction. This provides lightweight comfort and support while maintaining an ultra-light feel.

The Rocket X is a fast shoe that is best suited to shorter distances. Most runners will find this best for 5km to half marathon distances.

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
