The majority of the Wave Skyrise 4 midsole features Mizuno Enerzy foam. This should feel soft and protective. The colour contrast on the midsole highlights the Wave shaped cushioning. To explain further, this unique structure disperses forces and supports your feet throughout the gait cycle.
What isn't visible, is the Mizuno Enerzy Core inserts in the heel and forefoot areas. This material delivers exceptional levels of energy return. As a result, the midsole should feel like it helps you maintain your pace.
The upper of the Mizuno Wave Skyrise 4 should match the premium underfoot feel. With a stretch woven fabric, the stretchy material should adapt to your foot shape and support where needed.
Given how soft and protective the Mizuno Women's Wave Skyrise 4 running shoes are, they're perfect for slower to steady paced runs. This level of cushioning normally performs well over longer distances too. When you start to tire at the end of a long run, a soft and supportive midsole can be very welcoming.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
