The Fresh Foam X midsole delivers wonderfully soft cushioning. In addition, the midsole geometry increases flexibility and provides a silky-smooth transition from heel to toe-off. The midsole foam also provides more support exactly where it’s needed, without compromising on performance and responsiveness. Finally, the blown rubber outsole is highly durable for long-lasting performance.
The HypoKnit upper offers a plush, premium fit and feel and enhances breathability, flexibility and support. Slightly increased volume in the forefoot of the shoe also improves fit and allows more natural spread of the foot. A revised heel design upgrades support and hugs the foot for a secure fit.
The New Balance Women's Fresh Foam 1080v12 Running Shoes are soft, plush and responsive. They feel just as good during longer or slower miles as during faster-paced work. This makes them ideal for a mix of longer, easy runs and quicker runs or sessions.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
