The Alphafly 2 provides the greatest energy return of all Nike's racing shoes. Helping you to achieve personal bests.
A few notes about the design of this special edition of the Alphafly 2:
ZoomX foam, a carbon fibre plate, and Zoom Air units result in a midsole that offers incredible levels of comfort and energy return.
It is worth remembering that the Alphafly is likely to feel best when you are running at your faster speeds. Our point is that these are not designed for jogging or easy paced runs. They'll feel best when you establish some rhythm during faster runs.
If you want your feet and legs to feel as good as possible towards the end of a marathon, there are few - if any - better shoes to consider.
Atomknit material fits close to - and adapts to - the shape of your feet. It is very lightweight and breathable. Pods at the heel use Flyknit yarns for comfort and support. The tongue is integrated and is designed to help reduce the chance of pressure from laces. On the subject of laces, they are notched for a secure, but soft fit.
The Nike Men's Alphafly 2 "Eliud Kipchoge" Road Racing Shoes are designed for maximum speed and comfort over long distances such as the marathon.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
