Underfoot Feel
The Nike Pegasus Turbo features recycled scrap ZoomX foam. As a result, the midsole should feel very protective and energetic. A second carrier foam sits around the ZoomX foam to aid durability.
While it won't very overly pronounced, the midsole does have a rocker shape. This helps smooth out the transition from landing to take-off.
A recycled waffle rubber outsole design creates a piston effect and further increases the responsive feel of the shoes.
Upper Fit
75% of the Nike Pegasus Turbo upper has recycled material. The recycled yarn used in the upper requires less water to produce than standard yarns.
While you're likely to experience a soft and stretchy sock-like fit, Flyknit technology delivers support where it's needed.
Ideal Run Type
If you're looking for great cushioning, but don't want a thick stacked midsole, the Nike Men's Pegasus Turbo are great options. As a result of the bouncy ZoomX foam, these should perform well over a range of paces and distances.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
