Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men's Vaporfly 3 Road Racing Shoes are arguably one of the most versatile carbon fibre plated running shoes available. That's because they feel great for everything from a 10K to marathons.

Underfoot Feel

The Nike Vaporfly 3 cushioning feels exceptionally lightweight - it's almost hard to believe how much protection and propulsion it offers. 

Out on a run, the combination of ZoomX foam and a full-length carbon fibre plate feels very energetic. As soon as you're finished one step, you'll be flying onto the next. 

However, should you slow down for any reason, the cushioning feels forgiving and comfortable. The midsole sculpting and bulge at the heel also aids stability. This is particularly beneficial during the closing stages of demanding workouts or hard races.

Upper Fit

The Flyknit yarns in the Nike Vaporfly 3 Racing Shoes upper feel both supportive and highly breathable. Should your feet swell in a race, the soft fabric is capable of accommodating this. 

Pods on the inside of the heel collar hold your ankle in place. While an asymmetrical tongue construction helps reduce pressure on top of your feet.

Ideal Run Type

Run in the Nike Men's Vaporfly 3 Road Racing Shoes when you want to run fast. Ultimately, this means they're best for race-day.

However, some dedicated runners use Nike Vaporfly 3 for hard training sessions and race-day efforts as well. While they're likely to help you hit your target paces, you'll probably find your legs recover faster too.

Sizing Advice

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
