Underfoot Feel

The inclusion of ZoomX foam in the midsole is significant. ZoomX is soft and light, but it offers high levels of cushioning and energy return. This should help to keep your feet comfortable during long trail runs. 

Confidence should stem from the lug pattern on the outsole. Wide spacing between the deep lugs should provide a lot of grip on steep terrain involving rock and mud.

Upper Fit

The ankle gaiter is very soft - making it hardly noticeable. However, it helps to keep debris out of your shoes.

It's expected that the Zegama will have to cope with tough conditions. Therefore, engineered mesh - which is stronger and more flexible than regular mesh - helps to provide support. 

The front of the toe box is reinforced with overlays to help with durability.

Ideal Run Type

The Nike Men's Zegama Trail Running Shoes are best suited to long trail runs over difficult underfoot conditions. 

Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.

Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).

This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
