Advice for Road Runners: The Nike Men's Zoom Fly 6 Premium Road Running Shoes are among Nike's fastest training shoes ever made. For best-in-class training and racing hybrid, it is hard to look past the Zoom Fly 6.
The Zoom Fly 6 weigh at least 10% less than the Zoom Fly 5.
This particular Zoom Fly 6 is part of Nike's 2025 Ekiden Collection, which celebrates the incredible passion and devotion of Japan's long-distance relay runners. The flame graphic pattern on the upper symbolises the fire that burns within all racers and the torches that were used during the night legs of the earliest ekiden competitions.
The flame graphic is borrowed from the Nike Air Streak Spectrum. The Spectrum was a 2002 silhouette from the Streak Series, which was designed with insights from Japanese racers.

The Zoom Fly 6 are designed to deliver amazing comfort and energy return.
Of all the shoes in Nike's racing line-up, the Zoom Fly 6 have the highest stack height. The midsole consists of a full-length carbon fibre FlyPlate which sits between layers of Nike's proprietary ZoomX and SR-02 foams.
ZoomX is Nike's lightest and most responsive foam. It delivers a lot of energy return. When combined with a carbon fibre plate, you should experience supercharged propulsion.
The outsole features a thin web of rubber that delivers grip for when you are pushing the pace.
The upper of the Zoom Fly 6 utilises a two-layer woven mesh system - offering premium comfort in a sock-like fit. Expect high levels of breathability and durability.
The Nike Men's Zoom Fly 6 Premium Road Running Shoes are best suited to challenging long runs and tempo runs. In an ideal world, you would train in the Zoom Fly and then race in shoes such as the Vaporfly or Alphafly.
It is worth noting that Eliud Kipchoge and other elite Nike athletes played a vital role in the development of the Zoom Fly 6.
