Advice for Trail Runners: The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 4 Trail Running Shoes are one of the best options for door to trail runs. Offering a great combination of cushioning and grip.
Nike's React foam provides responsive cushioning. You should notice the protective underfoot feel on hard ground, but not find the midsole to be too soft when moving over softer ground.
The grip on the outsole will help with traction and confidence on light trails. It should also be very comfortable on sections of road - as the grip pattern isn't very aggressive.
The Pegasus Trail 4's upper contains Nike Flywire technology. The Flywire tech is integrated with a midfoot band to support your feet.
As a trail specific feature, rubber from the outsole wraps up onto the forefoot to create an upper with additional durability.
The Nike Women's Pegasus Trail 4 Trail Running Shoes are best suited to door to trail runs. They will cope well with sections of road at the start, middle and end of your run.
We don't recommend the Peg Trail for very muddy ground conditions.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
