Advice for Road Runners: The On Women's Cloudmonster running shoes in the Magnet/Shark colourway are one of the most popular On running shoes. With monster CloudTec cushioning and a powerful Speedboard, they offer an incredible underfoot experience.
The On Cloudmonster running shoes feature large CloudTec elements and a full-length Speedboard. This means the midsole feels both highly cushioned and energy returning.
To explain further, at landing, the CloudTec elements collapse and help absorb forces. As you transition forward, the responsive Speedboard enhances energy return and springs you forward.
This sensation of forward momentum feels even more noticeable as a result of the significant rocker shaped midsole.
Like most On running shoes, the Cloudmonster upper features premium fabrics and design techniques. This offers great breathability and comfort.
We position the On Women's Cloudmonster running shoes in our Enhanced Energy Experience category. That's because we believe the propulsive midsole has the potential to improve your running economy at slower to steady paces. Ultimately making those types of runs less stressful. This also means they're well suited to longer distances.
If you're searching the most cushioned and protective feeling On running shoes, we recommend choosing the On Cloudmonster. That's whether you're training for 5Ks or marathons.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
