Why we stock the Tech GORE-TEX® Mercurial Jacket

A waterproof running jacket is mandatory kit in a lot of hill and mountain races. Aside from being mandatory kit, a waterproof running jacket can be essential in certain weather conditions. The protection offered from wind and rain may be the difference between you being able to enjoy and complete a run or not. 

The Mercurial Jacket uses GORE-TEX® active fabric as it is very well suited to high-intensity aerobic activities such as running. GORE-TEX® active fabric has a number of significant benefits as it is:

• Highly breathable - allowing sweat vapour to escape;
• Lightweight - which is what you need in a running jacket;
• Durably waterproof - with the GUARANTEED TO KEEP YOU DRY™ promise; and
• Totally windproof.

On the left side of the chest, you will find a zipped pocket which can be used for storing essentials such as a key and credit card.

The hood, hem and cuffs are all adjustable. Very helpful features in bad weather.

Fit Guide

The Ronhill Mercurial Jacket has a relaxed fit. We recommend choosing your normal size. You should find there is plenty room to wear a base and/or mid-layer underneath.
