A new high-abrasion resistant mesh upper is more breathable and faster drying than the previous model. It is very resistant to debris penetration and won’t let small objects get in through the mesh. Saucony also added a mesh shield over the tongue to further increase protection. 3D-printed overlays enhance support in the upper while keeping the weight down. Runners can make micro adjustments to the fit while out on a run with the new lightweight speed lace system. The excess lace then tucks into the mesh shroud on top of the tongue to keep it nice and tidy.
Despite being designed for steeper, more challenging terrain, the Peregrine 11 ST offers a high level of protection. It features PWRRUN and PWRRUN+ to deliver great cushioning and energy return. A flexible rock-plate is embedded in the midsole to stop you feeling sharp objects. Note this isn’t visible as the area of outsole rubber is maximised to deliver the highest levels of grip.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles. Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes). This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
