The Team. We think they are the best!
Runners, fitness freaks and friendly to boot. Our staff are the heart and soul of Run4It and go through our rigorous induction and training programme before we let them loose on the shop floor. We think they are the best – you often tell us this.
Here’s a little more about the motley crew;
Jordan Young - Shop Manager
Jordan is a keen ultra-marathon runner and a lover of trails, mountains and everything outdoors. Jordan is not the fastest runner in the world, but he loves a challenge and aims to complete his first 100 mile race next year. To him, there is nothing better than grabbing a bag of food, lacing up his shoes and going on an adventure or hitting the trails with his friends.
Donna Higgins - Assistant Manager
Donna is a keen runner and netball player (though the netball always seems to cause injuries!) and is also a fully-trained Sports Therapist. Donna brings a wealth of experience. She has 2 young children who keep her right on her toes when she's not working!
Megan currently studies politics, journalism & creative writing at Strathclyde University. Once graduated she hopes to become a successful sports journalist. In her spare time you will often find Megan on her bike, in a swimming pool or running around a park.
John is currently studying MSc Sport and Exercise Science & Medicine at Glasgow University. In his spare time John enjoys participating in a mixture of races covering distances from 10k to Ultra’s (If you can enjoy an Ultra!!). He also has extensive knowledge on running biomechanics, which he investigated as part of his undergraduate research thesis.
Steven started running in 2013 and has since then moved from road half marathon, to marathon and more recently ultra marathon distance. In August 2015 he ran the Devil O the highlands ultra marathon, finishing the 43 mile course in just under 10 hours. This year Steven is running another two ultra's and fully intends on completing more in the future.
Andrew joined Dundee Run4it in 2014. He competes regularly in triathlons whilst also enjoying many obstacle course races. He is a keen runner who seems to fluke his way through races never actually training properly, although it was no fluke he beat Rosie in the Forfar multi-terrain half marathon.
Lesley is a Mum of three girls and a keen runner. She has taken part in several organised events from 10ks to full marathons. She is also a lover of the outdoors and enjoys bagging the odd Munro or going for a trail run on the West Highland Way. Lesley is also a gym goer and enjoys strength training as well as FT classes.
