Underfoot Feel

The Zoom Fly 5 offers a high energy underfoot feel. ZoomX foam - which is wrapped in a carrier foam - is very light and soft, but returns significant amount of energy. A carbon fibre plate produces a very responsive running sensation. The firmness of the carbon fibre plate is noticeable. However, the underfoot cushioning is still substantial. 

Nike designed the forefoot and heel so that both sections have a wide base. The wide base creates stability and should give you confidence when you are changing direction.

Upper Fit

The upper is soft and will accommodate a range of different foot shapes. The dynamic lace-up system means that it is easy to adjust the fit so that it fits the shape of your feet.

Ideal Run Type

However, their design means that they will cope with - and be suitable for - faster training sessions.
