The Nike Infinity RN 4 midsole now features ReactX foam. This delivers 13% more energy return than previously used React foam, making it feel bouncier underfoot. ReactX foam also reduces the carbon footprint of the midsole by at least 43% in comparison to React foam.
A combination of tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning ensures your feet feel supported. The blue section of the midsole calls out this feature.
Like the previous version, the Infinity RN 4 midsole curves from heel-to-toe. This rolls your feet forward from landing to take-off and offers an ultra smooth feeling.
The feeling of support extends to the upper of the Nike Infinity RN 4 running shoes too. A revamped Flyknit upper includes a Flyknit fit band. This rubber like band offers enhanced support and security where you need it most.
As these are all about comfort, the foam heel collar is soft and supportive. The Flyknit tongue also feels plush.
With a water-repellent liner in the toe area, you won't get caught out by a heavy downpour either.
We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes size for the best fit. Nike has acknowledged that these have a snug fit.
We recommend using the Nike Men's Infinity RN 4 stability running shoes for your slower to steady paced miles. That's because the cushioning offers great protection for slower runs and more responsiveness when you pick up the pace.
As a result of the high cushioning level and supportive design, these are perfectly suited to longer distance runs. Equally, you may need some extra help on a recovery run when your experiencing the effects of a hard session from the day before.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
