One of the most significant changes to the Nike Infinity RN 4 is the addition of ReactX foam. This never seen before foam gives you 13% more energy return than previously used React foam.
ReactX foam also reduces the carbon footprint of the midsole by at least 43% in comparison to React foam.
The yellow section of midsole shows off the next key change. Additional stability now comes from tuned support and intentionally placed cushioning.
As the midsole curves from heel to toe, the transition from landing to toe-off feels smooth. That's because the geometry rolls your feet forward.
Nike are constantly looking at ways to improve their Flyknit upper technology. The Nike Infinity RN 4 boasts an updated design. With more padding around the ankle and a plush tongue, it offers great support and comfort.
As these are stability running shoes, a Flyknit fit band is added to the midfoot. This rubber band like structure holds your arch area in place and makes you feel supported.
Even though you may not think white running shoes will stand up to wet weather, a water-repellent liner in the toe-area protects your feet.
We recommend ordering a half-size up from your normal Nike running shoes size for the best fit. Nike has acknowledged that these have a snug fit.
The Nike Men's Infinity RN 4 running shoes are suited to runners who are seeking additional support. That's because the midsole contouring and structured upper deliver greater levels of control for unstable feet and ankles.
Due to the high cushioning levels, we position the Nike Infinity RN 4 running shoes in our Float Experience category. We believe they'll perform best at slower to steady paces. As ReactX foam delivers great energy return, these should feel good at some brisker efforts too.
It goes without saying that this degree of support and cushioning can be perfect for long distance running.
Shoe size is a personal preference and everyone's feet are different, but we want to ensure you avoid any pain or discomfort from bruised toenails, rubbing, blistering or pins and needles.
Your running shoes should have enough width to allow you to spread your toes and should have some space at the front (we recommend having a half to one thumb's width of space from the end of your longest toe to the front of your running shoes).
This usually means that your running shoe will be at least a half size bigger than your regular shoe size though this can vary from brand to brand.
