Opened in 2004, our specialist running shop on Holburn Street has been helping runners of all levels find the right gear for over 20 years. In-store you'll find a diverse range of running shoes, clothing and accessories from the industry's leading brands, backed by the expert advice and exceptional customer service we’re proud to offer as an independent running retailer.

Run4It Aberdeen RunClub
Join our free weekly RunClub every Tuesday at 6pm, starting and finishing at the shop. These free, structured sessions are a great way to train consistently, meet other local runners, and keep progressing week to week.

Meet the team
Scott Wilson
Shop Manager
Scott brings a lifelong passion for athletics and endurance sports, with roots in competitive running and cycling. As a school athlete and member of Bromsgrove and Redditch Athletics Club, he excelled in the 800m, 1500m, and cross country events, inspired by legends Steve Cram, Sebastian Coe, and Steve Ovett.
His passion for sport led him to earn a degree in Sports Coaching and excel in cyclocross, competing nationally for nearly 15 years, including a 34th-place finish at the Cyclocross Masters World Championships in Mol, Belgium.
Running has always been integral to Scott’s training and has become his primary focus in recent years. He now aims to test himself in 5k, 10k, and half marathon events, ultimately aspiring to complete a full marathon.
Euan Cummings
Assistant Manager
Euan has always had sport in his life from climbing to cycling or hockey to athletics but the core of his activity has been a parkrun at every opportunity. Including two in one day on New Year's day.
He has a sports leadership qualification and a sports science A Level and was a member of jog Lisburn for 5 years before moving to Aberdeen 2020. He is enthusiastic and wants to see people grow in their love for activity and the community and support it offers. His goal is to go from avid park runner to marathon runner one day in the future.
Morven Coghill
Team Member
Morven has been a part of multiple sports from a very young age like swimming, highland dancing and badminton. Using running as means of fitness training for them, but also enjoys recreationally competing in beast races. Badminton is her main sport which she runs for her university club and regularly competes for. She has also helped coach and run a junior club back in her home town. She studies fashion & textiles design at university and is focusing her graduate collection on sportswear combining her love of sports with design.
Morven joined the Aberdeen team in May 2025 to immerse herself more in the Sporting world and involve herself more in the Aberdeen running community. Being a part of Run4It has aided in her own personal training and has given her the opportunity to do the same for others.
Kaden Houghton
Team Member
Kaden is currently in his 4th year at Robert Gordon University completing his sport and exercise science degree. His background is in football but developed his love for running and gained a passion for health and wellbeing. Kaden enjoys setting personal running goals and challenging himself to become better each day. He believes that by staying fit and healthy through running, you can maintain a happy and joyful lifestyle!
Jermaine Ellis
Team Member
Jermaine is a passionate runner and amateur boxer who integrates running into his daily training routine to improve performance and mental focus. Having achieved a sub-19-minute 5k and completed a half marathon in 1 hour 40 minutes, he brings firsthand experience of goal setting, pacing, and perseverance. As a Sports and Exercise Sciences graduate and MSc Physiotherapy student, Jermaine combines his academic background with practical insight into biomechanics and injury prevention. His achievements as a BUCS boxing gold medallist and former Exeter Chiefs academy player reflect his dedication to athletic performance. Jermaine is enthusiastic about helping others find the right kit to support their journey, and he’s excited to share his love for running with the Run4It community.
Duncan MacEachern
Team Member
Duncan loves long-distance running and the steady rhythm of endurance miles. For him, running is both thinking space and shared experience. It is a way to clear his head while also enjoying the company of others. He’s drawn to tough challenges and finds real satisfaction in pushing past comfort and seeing how hard he can go.
Chiara Asshoff
Team Member
Chiara initially started running as a way of improving her overall fitness. She quickly fell in love with it, exploring new areas, meeting new people and getting some baked goods with friends after. She has recently discovered trail running and is looking forward to exploring more of the Scottish Highlands and has signed up for her first marathon later this year.
When she is not out and about running, cycling and climbing, you can find her doing her PhD in Psychology at the University of Aberdeen.
Lauren Smith
Team Member
Lauren is currently a 3rd year physiotherapy student who has been surrounded by sports from a young age, including ice hockey, netball, running and road cycling. Lauren enjoys running to maintain fitness and explore new places. She has also recently started to enjoy trail running, especially in Aberdeenshire.
Poppy Davidson
Team Member
Poppy grew up in a highly athletic household, with her mother being a former personal trainer and her father actively encouraging her to engage in sports from a young age. Poppy participated in athletics throughout most of her childhood and is now a competitive volleyball player. She continues to incorporate running into her training, enjoying sprint sessions at the gym as well as regular forest runs. Running plays a significant role in her mental wellbeing, providing an effective way to decompress after a demanding day at university. Poppy has just completed her first year at Robert Gordon University, where she is studying Business with Marketing.

- What to expect
Our sessions follow structured training cycles around major marathon periods (Jan–May & Jun–Oct), with interval-based workouts, clear progression, and planned load/de-load weeks.
The runs are also suitable for people who are not preparing for an event. The structure of the runs is tailored to help a wide range of abilities, and those who are simply trying to improve their fitness.
- Who it’s for
Everyone! If you want to take the guesswork out of training and run at the right pace/effort, this is for you. Our Run Club Leaders will guide you through each session, whatever your goal or experience level.
Don't worry about being left behind. The route will be matched to the run, so that we start together and finish together.
All Run Club participants must be over the age of 18
- When can I join?
Anytime. There’s no commitment to attend a specific period or number of sessions – join whenever it suits you. Jump in at any stage of the cycle; even occasional attendance brings real benefits.

Metro Aberdeen
One of Aberdeen’s top clubs, Metro have had a close relationship with Run4It since 2004 and we are particularly proud of this. The store supports the annual winter 3k series on the beach boulevard and many staff members are also club members. Growing from strength to strength each year, the club caters for a wide range of abilities and has some great training and coaching available.
Aberdeen AAC
Aberdeen’s premiere track and field club, also with a strong road running history, are based out of the Aberdeen Sports Village and utilise the world-class facilities on offer. They cater for all ages and run a strong junior training program.
Stonehaven Running Club
Stonehaven Running Club are a very friendly and sociable group of runners welcoming people from all backgrounds and abilities. Whether you want to race or not, SRC will help you to structure your training to help runners achieve their goals. They run sessions and group runs multiple times a week. Hidden Peak Running Club
Group running sessions, personal coaching and training camps organised by Fraser Clyne and Robbie Simpson. With over 40 years of competitive running experience covering road, track, trail and mountain running from 3km to 100km we can help you get the most out of your training and enjoy a variety of terrains and sessions. Our training sessions take place around Aberdeen with a UKA qualified coach and are open to all abilities.
Fit Like Joggers
Located in Aberdeen, The Fit Like Joggers provide a great opportunity to begin your running journey. You never know where it might lead you... Fit Like Joggers run a Couch to 5k programme, starting in January and August of each year, as well as organising 11 further runs a week, at varying paces between 5k and 8k. Each run has a leader and tail runner, and provides a sociable, relaxed, and free running environment for runners of all abilities.

Supported events
Hosted annually in late April, Run Balmoral is a spectacular weekend and festival of running offering Junior races and the ever popular 5K & 10K on the Saturday, followed by the Duathlon and Trail Races (6 Miles or 15 Miles) on the Sunday. Not to mention the notorious Devil O Deeside (see website for details)!
Taking place annually in May, this family-friendly Inverurie running event consists of a Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & Junior run. Give it a try!
