Lucy moved to Scotland for a Masters University degree back in 2015, fell in love with Scottish running and subsequently never left. She joined the Run4It team back in 2016 and was promoted to the management team in August 2017. A seasoned club runner and trail running enthusiast, Lucy started her journey ‘attempting’ to run 60m hurdles at the age of 9 for Bristol and West AC and more recently ran the London Marathon for Aberdeen AAC, you really can’t get more diverse than that! With track racing all the way through to marathon running experience under her belt, she has a wealth of running knowledge to offer!
Jason is the resident ultra expert and has a wealth of knowledge on all things long-distance. He took up running in 2016 and progressed quickly over 5km to half marathon distances before switching focus to ultramarathons in 2020. He made his Scotland debut in 2021 at the Anglo Celtic Plate 100km International, bagging a silver medal in the process and going 9th on the Scottish all-time rankings for the distance. Jason races all distances from 3km upwards and on roads, hills and trails - basically he just loves running any time and anywhere! He started working at Run4It in 2017 and joined the management team in 2019.
Nick is old. Very old. So old in fact that no one can quite remember how and when he started running. All they know is he always has! There are rumours and vague recollections that it may have been sometime between his 8th and 10th birthdays. Suffice to say he is still soldiering on. Over the years he has performed on the road and cross country to a respectable club standard and unlike a good wine has not got better with age. Fortune favours the persistent however and in recent years he has amassed 12 Scottish Championship medals, of varying hues, in the Super Vet Category. These have included the East XC Champs, Master National XC Champs, 10k Road Champs plus road and XC relays. Every year gets a little harder with a new influx of oldies but with 1 year still in this age band the opportunity is there to add one or two more.

We are often told that the difference between us and other shops is our people. We think they are just the best. Each team member goes through a period of induction, training and assessment no matter what the job is. Over the years we have invested a load not just in the training but also in ensuring that we are giving the team the very best possible terms and conditions we can – it’s even written down in our business values.
